FAQ
-
What is Permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a fancy term for ‘claspless’ jewelry. You choose from a variety of .925 sterling silver or 14k gold-filled chains and connectors to create a personal and unique piece.
-
What is 14k gold-filled?
It is 5% or two sheets of solid gold bonded over a jewelers brass.
It’s higher quality and longer lasting than gold plated and more budget-friendly than solid gold.
-
How does it get put on?
The metal gets fused together by electricity around your wrist, ankle, neck or finger.
Nothing invasive in your skin.
-
Can I wear them in the shower, hot tub & pool?
Absolutely. However, depending on the PH of the hot tub or pool and the way it’s cleaned, it could oxidize the metals from the strong chemicals. Every pool and hot tub is different. You should clean them immediately after swimming with a soft toothbrush, dawn dish soap and water.
-
Does it tarnish?
All chains are sourced high quality metals. However, that doesn’t mean they are 100% tarnish proof but are tarnish resistant depending on your lifestyle and the conditions the metals are being worn in daily.
-
What if I need to take it off?
You just need to clip the jump ring where it is welded on with nail clippers or wire cutters. When you would like it back on, you can find me at a pop-up to be rewelded.
-
What if it breaks?
Just like any piece of jewelry, these chains aren’t indestructible or invincible. With excessive force, they could break. If it does, find me at a pop-up. I can reweld the item you bought from me back on. However, all sales are final and I do not cover damage or offer exchanges of chains that are in multiple pieces, bent bangles, broken strands, connectors or charms.
-
What if I lose it?
Unfortunately I do not cover loss. This would result in needing to purchase a new item.
-
Does it last forever?
I do not market this jewelry as ‘forever’ jewelry. Depending on the obstacles it is put through in your daily life, this jewelry may last a long time, but it is not intended to last forever.
